BATTLESHIP ROCK TO XIN BEITOU (軍艦岩往新北投)

You can combine a visit to this photogenic rock outcrop with a not-too-difficult walk to a rather pretty Japanese shrine and end up right next to Beitou's famous sulphur valley.

Happy faces all round. I love hiking in Ruifang District. On this occasion, we didn't end up where we had intended because the trail hadn't been walked in too long and had become overgrown to the point of being invisible, but there was still lots of interesting scenery. A shit detective story
