FUYUAN ANCIENT BANYAN TRAIL (福源山步道)
A quiet and pretty hiking trail just outside of Taipei. Along the way you can enjoy quirks of nature like the thousand year banyan tree and a lily pond half way up a mountain (well, it's more of a big hill really).
DA JIAN SHAN via XIUFENG FALLS (秀峰瀑布/大尖山)
An easy hike with a waterfall and city views in Xizhi District.

ERGE SHAN VIA NANBANGLIAO LOOP (二格山，南邦寮山)
This short loop at the edge of civilisation offers a quick getaway from the city.
ST. MARIAN’S HIKING TRAIL (聖母山步道)
St. Marian's Hiking Trail, also known more recently as Matcha Mountain is a well known trail in Yilan's Jiaoxi District. It's a big climb with views that are guaranteed to make you glad you made the effort.
WU LIAO JIAN (五寮尖)
A very exciting full body hiking experience with great views and challenging climbs.
PAOZILUN HIKING TRAIL AND SILONG WATERFALL (炮子崙步道/四龍瀑布)
